What is Cordyceps CS-4 extract powder and how is it made?

Our Cordyceps extract powder is produced from the CS-4 strain (Paecilomyces hepiali) through liquid fermentation, then water-extracted and alcohol-purified to concentrate the active compounds. This process preserves both water-soluble and alcohol-soluble bioactive compounds, delivering a clean, concentrated extract with verified cordycepin and adenosine content.

How do I use Cordyceps powder daily?

Add one level scoop (1g) to your morning coffee, tea, smoothie, or juice. The powder dissolves easily in both hot and cold liquids. Many people find morning or pre-exercise use works best. You can also mix it into oatmeal or blend it into recipes.

What does Cordyceps powder taste like?

Cordyceps CS-4 extract powder has a mild, slightly nutty flavour. Most people find it blends easily into coffee or tea without significantly altering the taste. In smoothies or juice, the flavour is virtually undetectable.

How is the powder different from Cordyceps capsules?

Both formats contain the same Cordyceps CS-4 extract with identical compound profiles, including 1.5% cordycepin, 0.52% adenosine, and over 32% beta-glucans. The powder offers flexible dosing and easy integration into drinks, while capsules provide convenience and precise dosing. The extract inside is identical.

What bioactive compounds does the Cordyceps powder contain?

Our Cordyceps CS-4 extract contains over 32% beta-glucans, 1.5% cordycepin, 0.52% adenosine, and 1.56% polyphenols, all verified through HPLC and Megazyme testing in ISO 17025-accredited laboratories. Each batch comes with a full Certificate of Analysis so you know exactly what you are getting.

Cordyceps Extract Powder

Cordyceps CS-4 Extract Powder (Paecilomyces hepiali)

If your Cordyceps supplement was grown on grain, the product you're taking is mostly rice starch. Standard beta-glucan tests can't tell the difference, so the numbers on the label look right. But the actual Cordyceps content is a fraction of what you'd expect.

Our CS-4 is produced via liquid fermentation, yielding pure Paecilomyces hepiali mycelium without grain; the liquid medium contains soy-derived nutrients, hence the soy allergen declaration. Dual-extracted and standardised at 1.5% cordycepin, confirmed by an ISO 17025-accredited third-party lab. A fine, versatile powder you can mix into coffee, smoothies, or daily recipes.

No capsule shells, no fillers, no grain, no starch, no synthetic additives. Every batch is independently tested.

50g of extract per pouch, approximately 1g per serving. 900mg-1g daily dose, approximately 50 servings per pouch.

Two formats, one extract: the powder and the capsules contain the identical mushroom extract. Capsules are simply the same extract pre-measured into capsules; the powder stirs into coffee, smoothies or food.

Description

Our Cordyceps CS-4 extract comes in a fine, easy-to-mix powder – the most versatile way to add this traditional mushroom to your daily routine. Produced from sustainably cultivated CS-4 mycelium through liquid fermentation, each 60g pouch delivers approximately 90 servings of dual-extracted Cordyceps.

Wild Ophiocordyceps sinensis has been gathered by Tibetan herders at high altitude for centuries and remains one of the rarest biological materials on earth. CS-4 is a strain isolated from wild sinensis and cultivated through liquid fermentation, producing pure mycelium under controlled, certified conditions. No wild harvesting required.

Powder format gives you complete control over your serving size and lets you incorporate Cordyceps into coffee, tea, smoothies, or any recipe you choose.
